BDCI Golf Day Success

Surrey Downs Golf Club in Kingswood, Surrey, once again played host to the annual BDCI Golf Day on Wednesday 14th September. As always, it was well supported, with 16 teams turning out to play, who, between them, raised more than £4,000 for the charity.

Competition is the name of the game, with a host of prizes on offer for ‘Nearest the Pin’, ‘Longest Drive’, ‘Best Score of the Day’ and ‘Best Team’. This year, for the first time, there was also a ‘Beat the Professional’ competition. The awards are made at the end of the day when the teams reconvene in the Clubhouse and sit down to enjoy a delicious three course meal, followed by a charity auction.
